Lord help me learn patience. I thought I was a pretty patient guy but I am far from it. Sometimes I rush through life letting everything fly past right before my eyes. I rarely take time to just take a step back and admire the greatness around me. The great opportunities given to me, the good, the bad, everything that I take for granted.
Teach me patience. Patience for other's mistakes, patience while driving, patience of longing for those you care about far away...
I asked myself once why 'love is patient' comes first in the bible verse. If there is a reason, it is probably because patience is really a virtue and is tested so many times in a day. maybe it's the best form of love, love for our neighbors as ourselves..
